More than hundred concessions in Macedonia and Thrace are presently under investigation, all with a reported, but variable gold potential. The locations are illustrated on the map (click to enlarge).
The concessions, of which two are being developed into a gold mine by a consortium of three mining companies (Greek, Canadian and Australian) are held by Mr Ploumis Chatziangelou in Thessaloniki, Greece.
